Find parks, trails and camping in Canada
How do I find parks in Canada?
Start with the park’s operator: Parks Canada for federal destinations, the province or territory for its parks, and the municipality for neighbourhood parks. Finding a park, buying admission and reserving a campsite are different tasks.
Where to begin
- Choose a province or territory, or name a city for local parks.
- For Parks Canada destinations, use the national parks finder. For provincial, territorial or city parks, use that operator’s directory.
- Open the individual destination for activities, facilities, dates, admission and any required reservation.
Before you open the official service
- The destination or area you want to visit.
- Your intended date and whether you need day use, camping or a particular facility.
Keep your actual documents and account details off this website. Use the official service’s current checklist before applying.
What to check for your situation
A park listing is not a live opening or campsite-availability check. Check the actual destination’s alerts, operating dates and permit or booking requirements.
Fees, processing times and document rules can change. This page helps you navigate; it does not confirm eligibility or replace the government’s instructions.
