Your question, your privacy.
What is sent when you ask
When AI is enabled, your question and up to four earlier questions are sent through our server to DeepSeek through OpenRouter, with reviewed public service information. For questions outside our maintained guides, the question and service context may also be sent to Firecrawl to find public official sources. Search-result URLs may be cached for 15 minutes under a hashed query key; raw questions and answers are not stored in that cache. Processing is not guaranteed to remain in Canada. Use general questions; keep documents and private case details on the official service.
Our application does not save question text or model answers. The conversation exists in page memory and is cleared by a reload or a new conversation. Abuse protection uses a daily rotating keyed network identifier; our application does not store raw IP addresses. These visitor counters expire after two days. Aggregate request outcomes, timings and costs are retained for up to 35 days; no conversation text is included.
Sharing an answer
Copy and Share use the answer you choose, including its source links. Guide links open the public guide and do not contain your conversation. Sharing through another app follows that app’s privacy practices.
Your browser and hosting
Your light or dark preference can be stored on your device. Optional Google Analytics measures page visits only after you allow it. We omit question text, answers, form contents, URL query strings and fragments. Advertising features and automatic interaction measurement are disabled. You can change your choice in Analytics settings in the footer; the choice expires after six months. The hosting provider, Cloudflare, Firecrawl, OpenRouter and the selected model hosting provider may process technical request and operational records under their own policies.
