Find parks in Ontario
How do I find parks in Ontario?
Find an Ontario provincial park with the Park Locator, then choose day-use or overnight reservation guidance. Ontario Parks uses a different booking system from Parks Canada; a seasonal permit alone does not guarantee admission.
Where to begin
- Choose the park in Ontario Parks’ map or operating-parks list.
- For a day trip, use the Day Use page to check whether the park offers advance daily vehicle permits.
- For camping or accommodation, use Ontario Parks’ Reservations page and its own booking service.
- Check dates, capacity, rules and the confirmation before travelling. A seasonal permit by itself does not guarantee entry.
Before you open the official service
- The destination or area you want to visit.
- Your intended date and whether you need day use, camping or a particular facility.
Keep your actual documents and account details off this website. Use the official service’s current checklist before applying.
What to check for your situation
A park listing is not a live opening or campsite-availability check. Check the actual destination’s alerts, operating dates and permit or booking requirements.
Fees, processing times and document rules can change. This page helps you navigate; it does not confirm eligibility or replace the government’s instructions.
